Daycare

What does Daycare include?

Our Daycare dogs enjoy all-day play in our 2000 sq. ft. indoor dog park, belly-rubs, ear massages, and personal attention.  While many of our dogs enjoy playing, many also prefer to nap in one of our many open spaces, or simply follow us around doing chores.  It makes them feel at home.

Do you have half days available?

Yes.  A half-day is 5 hours or less and we offer them 7 days a week.

Should I bring my dog’s food? Can you accommodate special dietary needs?

Yes. We like to keep dogs on their own schedule and formulas. We have a fully stocked kitchen so we can refrigerate, freeze or heat up anything for your dog. If you forget your dog’s food, we always keep grain-free food on hand for $3/cup. 

Do you provide a discount for frequent daycare visitors?

Yes, we do! If your dog attends daycare more than once a week each month, you will automatically receive a discount on your monthly bill.

 

Boarding

What is included in Boarding my dog?

Our Boarders enjoy all the benefits of our daycare dogs with the addition of spending the night with their friends both canine and human.

What do I need to bring when my dog is staying overnight?

We ask that all Boarders bring their own food. We measure everything, so we ask that you not pre-portion. No bowls are needed.  You may bring treats, toys, but we do not give out SQUEAKY TOYS or BULLY STICKS, PIG EARS or RAWHIDES. With your approval, we can provide a frozen peanut butter kong instead!

Is it normal to pack extra food?

Whether it’s a couple of nights or an extended vacation, we encourage everyone to pack an additional 2-3 days worth of food. Flight delays and traffic are abundant, and we want to keep your pup on their regular diet.

In addition, dogs tend to get more playtime with us than their average day at home, meaning sometimes their daily feedings need to be increased. If you know your dog is very active, please pack accordingly.

How will you measure my dog’s food?

We use standard measuring cups and a kitchen scale. Since we’re also a Green Business, we encourage you to utilize reusable containers and packages. Whether it’s raw, homemade, dry or wet food, we can measure out anything.

What if my dog runs out of food?

We are always stocked with grain-free dry food, which we charge $3/cup for. Alternatively, we will go out and retrieve your dog’s preferred formula. In that case, a $20 service fee and the cost of the food will be applied to your invoice. You may also have your pup’s food delivered to us!

My dog sleeps in a crate at home. Can I bring it in?

We have crates of all sizes and styles that your dog is free to use.  If your dog prefers their specific crate, you may bring it.

Are you staffed 24 hours a day?

Yes.  At least one of our staff members spends the night every night.

Where do the dogs sleep?

The majority of dogs will sleep out with their friends. Some will even sleep in bed with us! Those that are crate trained at home have the option to sleep in one. Some dogs need more privacy to fully decompress, and we have cozy spaces for them as well.

 

Sign Up & Requirements 

Are there any requirements for Daycare and Boarding?

Yes, we require that all dogs are up-to-date on all their vaccinations (Bordetella, Rabies, DHLPP and Canine Influenza), are spayed/neutered if older than 7 months, and most importantly, they cannot have any aggression towards people or any dogs regardless of size, breed, etc.

How do I sign up? Can I take a tour? What is a Meet and Greet?

We have all potential new guests come in for a scheduled Meet and Greet where you and your dog take a tour of our facility, and your pup will get the chance to meet some of our regulars. Please email us to schedule a Meet & Greet as we do not accept walk-ins. We will need proof of your dog’s vaccinations ahead of time so it’s helpful to double check your dog’s records.

My dog is aggressive, can they stay with you?

As we are a cage-free, open facility where all the dogs are together, we do not allow aggressive dogs.

 

Reservations

Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes. Reservations are required for both daycare & boarding.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, for DAYCARE visits only. We book up for daycare very quickly, so you have until 8:00am the day of your reservation to cancel. After that time, a $30 fee will be applied to your monthly invoice.

I have a busy schedule and I want to schedule ahead.

Many of our dogs have recurring daycare reservations specific to their parent’s needs. We are able to schedule these three months out, and we renew it once it expires. Our cancellation policy still applies to recurring reservations.

How quickly do you book up for holidays?

For major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc) we book up 2-3 months in advance. We have a wait list that tends to move 2-4 weeks before said holiday.

For all other holidays (Labor Day, 4th of July, etc) we book up 2-3 weeks in advance.

Is there a limit to how early I can reserve for major holidays?

Not at all! If you know you’ll be travelling for the holidays, get your tentative dates in sooner than later. We reach out at least 45 days in advance, and you’ll be able to adjust your dates then.

 

General Questions

How many dogs do you have at one time?

Our Maximum is 65-70 dogs, that includes dogs that are leaving for the day.

Do you mix big and little dogs?

No. This is a safety procedure we follow 24/7.

Why is your staff so special?

All staff members have been carefully chosen not only for their love of dogs, but also their dedication and commitment to working with them. All staff members are certified in First Aid & CPR for dogs. We’ve hosted Q&As with different trainers to optimize the experience for our pack.

Where do the dogs eat?

We have “stalls,” essentially small gated areas where each dog can eat and rest comfortably.  Every dog is separated for each meal. Some dogs need more one and one attention in order to eat, and that’s no problem! We have plenty of other spaces where your dog can eat comfortably.

I have more than one dog, can they sleep together?

Absolutely! 

How can I see my dog’s activity?
